WEEKEND UPDATE! by: DJ Scott
Sep 1: A little late with this update... but I have been swamped with work. Sunday, despite the afternoon rain... we had a GREAT car show at Lefty's! The drinks , food, and fun flowed all day! We were treated to a very cool surprise appearance by the "Blues Brothers"... who put on an awesome quick show for us! The SFHR hosted their own fun with a summer pool party... and cleaned up winning "Best Club", Best of Show (Mike in in '70 Chevelle picked by the staff), and winning the flat-panel TV (John S). I've got some great photos and video to share! I've been on the road all week and haven't had a chance to even start on them yet!
Tonight Duffy's Diner will host it's 1st car show.. trophies, dash plaques, music, more! Nice diner, great food and prices, with a nice discount too. Music by DJ Dee! Times are 6pm-9pm, located on Cypress Ck Rd next to Cheers.
This Sunday is the Seminole Hollywood Casino Labor Day Weekend Show... and it is FREE!!! Always a good event! Don't forget the SFHR is collecting clothing for the homeless cause at this show.

South Florida Hot Rides clean up at the Lefty's Show in Davie!
Jack Anderson's "Smokin-T" racing MonaVie billionaire Brig Hart at rented track and carshow in Orlando. This is the 1st time that Jack's car has EVER been on a race track!
This car is totally NOT track legal with no roll bar and Jack running in shorts with no seat belts! Jack, you are truly one crazy man living life LARGE!!!
This awesome video was shot by professional videographer "Vin Man", who rode in car as passenger during race. There is a shot of Brig riding the crazy shotgun seat as well.
Jack's car is "Jacked on the Juice"... and so it the driver! If you want to know more about amazing health, talk to Jack or myself!!
8/16: Scott, once again thank you for the fantastic job entertaining all the folks who came out to our Annual Tattoo Expo Open Car and Truck Show Sunday Aug 15. We had a great turn out despite our steamy august weather and a good time was had by all in the interest of a great cause, Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. "South Florida Hot Rides" at Tattoo Expo Car Show Sunday!
Despite the afternoon rain.. it was a nice show! About 100 cars on a mostly calm day.. apparently we were somewhat fortunate with the weather. This venue offers a large covered outdoor area... perfect for protection from the sun and rain. It did unfortunately rain for the ride home. Nice job Jack and crew! 2010 Photos!
Just wanted to post my comments from the Maroone show Sunday. Rain cannot dampen the fun that we have attending car shows and reaching out to have a great time with people that we care about. Our car brothers and sisters had a good time with each other at this Maroone show put on by Jumpin Jack and the green helpers. The music was the best I have heard from DJ Scott, ever. I would like to share something with our car crazy community if you will allow me to. I have attended many shows down here over the years and have been fortune enough to win some awards from time to time, thanks to all for that. Today I was shocked and happy to have won "Best Late Paint" for my '95 triple black Corvette. Thank you to Jack and the judges for honoring me for doing what I love to do - detail cars. Most of us love to wash and wax our cars, trying to out shine the other car entrants. Me, I love to detail cars, period. My wife's daily driver is as detailed as my 'Vette or Cobra, just the way I am I guess. Thank You all once again for the honor, you have humbled me. See you at the next show!

We had a GREAT night with over 60 cars and a lot of spectators! The food and drinks flowed, & the place lit up after the sun went down! "Russ G Events"
G'day Scott... My wife and I will be travelling to Miami next year from Australia, We are only in the early planning stage at the moment however we look like being there from Sunday 10th to Thurs. 14th of April. I had a look at you very informative and well put together web site and will be checking it out more often as the time gets nearer. Any advise or recommendations you would be gratefully appreciated, Hopefully we'll get to meet a few nice people to chat to and compare notes with while we're there. (photo of our car)

This is an incredible video! ...and is a "nail-biter" for sure! The video is 11 minutes non-stop at full speed! Some of the road is gravel... most of the road has NO guard rails! It gets really crazy around 7 minutes! Jeff is 2WD champ!

Ol' Betsy had a tough time making it up the hills... be she made up for it going down the other sides! We rode some absolutely stunning country side on the Harley... visited the Jack Daniels Distillery, enjoyed some great Nashville nightlife, visited with family and friends, soaked up some "real" warm Tennessee hospitality... and so much more!
